BestTurn, a ground handling company at Incheon International Airport, has been officially selected for the “Incheon Airport Startup Support Program” and attended the signing ceremony in May.
This initiative is jointly led by Incheon International Airport Corporation and Incheon Technopark. It aims to support startups by validating and commercializing their innovative solutions in various airport ground handling operations.
In 2025, approximately ten startups founded within the last seven years were selected to participate, focusing on four key areas of the digital airport: Smart Airport, Eco-friendly Airport, Wellness Airport, and Cultural & Artistic Airport. These startups were recognized for offering tangible potential to drive meaningful transformation.
BestTurn proposed a project to create jobs within the airport economy zone by building a digital platform for aviation workforce deployment. The system is designed to help allocate tasks more flexibly and efficiently for approximately 90,000 airport workers at Incheon Airport.
Meanwhile, during the agreement ceremony, participating startups also took part in the ESG Management Commitment Pledge, affirming their dedication to responsible management for a sustainable airport environment. They pledged to actively pursue environmental protection, create social value, and ensure transparent corporate operations.
Lee Hak-jae, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, stated, “We aim to accelerate innovation in the domestic airport industry ecosystem and enhance global competitiveness by supporting promising startups through funding and capacity-building programs.”
